Vardhani belongs to a family of academicians. Her father D. Narasimha Rao, a renouned academician, acquired advanced training about educational system from Russia, was founder of Ravi Bala Vihar and Ravi Tutorial College, two esteemed leading institutions in Vizianagaram and around for about two and half decades celebrated silver jubilee in the yester era. Mother Smt. K.J. Ramani was a Retd. Head Mistress in Govt. High school, Vizianagaram.
Vardhani’s schooling was from their own institution and later she has four post graduate degrees to her credit which include English Litt. and Telugu Litt along with two more in Music from Kakatiya University Osmania University, Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya and Chennai University respectively.
A child prodegy with outstanding talent, Vardhani was recognised and identified by Great Guru, “Kalaratna” Hamsa Awardee Retd. Principal Govt College of Music and Dance, Hyderabad, Sri.P.V.S. Seshaiah Sastry garu, her Guru, mentor and guide eversince, who brought her into the world of Karnatak Classical Music, making her a passionate professional.
As a sincere, fast grasping and hard working learner, she learnt under the able guidance of great legend and dedicated Guru Sri Sastry garu for about a decade and half in gurukulavasam and acquired profound knowledge and mastery over several branches of manodharma music.
Her repertoire is stunning in both numbers and variety which is confidently being presented in her concerts with hundreds in number, enthralling her audiences with her mesmarising and melodious voice ringing in the ears even after a long time of
listening.
